template help

i've been attempting to add another sidebar to my template, and i've been successful in adding one but it's in the wrong place and when i try to get it straightened out it goes in a complete jumble! :-S i know i have many wonderful buddies who can help...what i'd like to do is to add a sidebar on the left, have the main column in the center, and have the other one on the right. is this something that is likely possible with my current template or would it be better to find a template already organized with three columns?

thanks guys!

It's really hard to do a 3 column layout without using Netscape Composer or some other HTML program. (Sorry, I'm not really familiar with all the programs.) I know you can do amazing stuff with Dreamweaver, but it's ridiculously expensive.

I've had a LOT of luck with open source code. That is better known as "free templates that you can download from other websites". Good stuff! Let me know if you're interested, and I will leave a few of my favorite websites in your comments.

Yes, you would have to use an HTML program to do that for you.
Cristina (the designer of my Sting My Heart blog) has three 3 colum for download available. I'll send you an email with her information.

Your blog looks fine with the single sidebar. I manage to chane that side by adding parts one, like you have.

Good luck in what you do, there.

Hey there sunshine, I’m sorry to hear about your tough times – I just caught myself up on your blog. Lord knows we all go through them and I know at your age there are things that, looking back didn’t seem so bad, but while there were really tough to get through. You have a great head on your shoulders and a wonderful support system and you’ll get through just fine if you continue to focus on Him and not what you are going through. God always promised that He would never give us more than we could handle. Sounds like you have a lot going on in your life but rest assured in God’s promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you. I know it’s difficult to not feel like you have been forgotten sometimes, especially when answers don’t seem to be forthcoming in the midst of trials. But you have a lot of people who care and who love you. Hold fast to that which you have.

Anyway, I think I will start my own Thankful Thursdays. Sounds really neat! Better to count blessings than problems – it improves one’s outlook (and “inlook”)! :)

Thanks for the kind non-frumpy affirmation comment. It made me smile! Love ya girl.

Sorry girlie, I have no idea. But my husband, brother and father-in-law, cousin and uncle are ALL computer GEEKS. So maybe if I asked on of them they might be able to offer some advice. It's so nice to have all these computer nerds around (although my husband is a cute nerd) hehe.
